What is the Gauger Estate?
The Gauger Estate is an adjacent pair of family-owned properties in South Hannibal, NY that includes The Gauger House, The G Lodge, and Fay Flower Farm. Together, these spaces create a warm, timeless setting for weekend-long celebrations filled with comfort, nature, and creativity.How many guests can the property accommodate?
Our maximum capacity for outdoor weddings at either property is 165 guests. For indoor or more intimate weddings, more options are available.Are accommodations available on-site?
Yes! Overnight lodging is available at The Gauger House and The G Lodge. Our packages include access to these spaces for your wedding weekend. -
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples reserve their date 12–18 months in advance. Popular summer and fall weekends fill quickly, so we recommend securing your date early.Do you offer different wedding packages?
Yes. We offer three customizable packages, and range from venue-only rentals to full-service weekend experiences that include floral design, décor, and coordination. Packages can be tailored to fit your unique vision.What’s required to reserve our date?
A signed rental agreement and 30% deposit are required to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event. -
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own. We also offer a Preferred Vendor Catalogue of local wedding planners, caterers, musicians, photographers, florists, and artists who know the property well.
Is alcohol and/or cannabis allowed?
Yes. You may bring your own alcohol or cannabis or hire a bar service. All persons consuming alcohol or cannabis must be 21 years of age or older.
Can we host our ceremony and reception in different areas?
Of course. Many couples choose an outdoor ceremony on the farm, followed by dining and dancing under the pavilion at The Lodge. We’ll help you plan the flow to make the most of each space.
What’s the rain plan?
We have a covered pavilion at The G Lodge and tent options available for ceremony or reception coverage. Our team will help you plan a seamless backup layout. -
What additional rentals and event supplies do you offer?
The Gauger Estate offers a curated selection of tablescape and event rentals so couples can create their dream celebration without the hassle of sourcing or cleanup. Options include:Dishware & Glassware: Vintage floral or premium cream linen–textured stoneware, silverware, colorful water glasses, and champagne flutes.
Tables, Chairs & Linens: Wooden folding chairs with white leather seats, multiple table sizes, off-white linens, and napkins in pink or navy.
Food Service: Coffee urns, self-serve or at-table coffee setups, and full food service packages.
Tents & Décor: 20’×20’ and 20’×30’ yellow-and-white tents, plus optional Decor Room Access for arches, signage, and accent décor.
All items are available à la carte or within our wedding packages, so you can mix, match, and customize every detail.
Can we bring our own décor?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own items or rent from our decor collection, which includes vintage chotchkes, arches, signage, faux florals, candle holders, and more.
Do you handle setup and breakdown?
Setup and cleanup are included in our premium wedding packages. For à la carte rentals, couples are responsible for setup and teardown unless added as a service.
Is there a cleaning fee?
No, it’s included in your total quoted price. -
Floral & Farm Offerings
Do you provide flowers?
Yes! Our in-house farm, Fay Flower Farm, offers beautiful Blossom Box packages featuring seasonal blooms grown right here on the property.
Can we pick our own flowers?
Absolutely. Couples who love a hands-on experience can choose our Pick-Your-Own Blossom Box option for a fun and meaningful pre-wedding activity. -
Is there parking on-site?
Yes. There’s ample free on-site parking at the Lodge and plenty of street parking at the House.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! Dogs are welcome property-wide. We simply ask that they remain supervised, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
What time does music have to end?
Music must end by midnight to comply with local noise regulations. After-parties can continue quietly around the fire pit or in the lodging areas. -
Can we tour the property before booking?
We’d love to show you around! Tours are available by appointment year-round. Please call or text Gabi at (315) 879-0776 to schedule.
Do you offer coordination services?
Yes, our Event Assistance Service is included in top-tier packages and available as an add-on for others. Our team ensures your weekend runs smoothly from start to finish.
Can we visit again closer to our date?
Yes! You’ll welcome to have a final walkthrough about 30 days before your wedding to review layout, timeline, and final details.
